More than 600 artists have registered for Huntenkunst 2018. The strong growth in foreign interest is striking. The ballot committee selected 220 artists from the submissions for an art event in Ulft.

“The enthusiasm for Huntenkunst is growing every year,” said Harrie Schenning, initiator of the art event and chairman of the selection committee. “This year 120 new artists have applied.”

Of the more than 600 entries, 60 percent come from abroad. The foreign artists come from 30 different countries. There is growing interest from Eastern Europe, but there are also artists from countries that have never before been represented at Huntenkunst. For example, requests from artists from Argentina and Brazil have arrived.

The selection committee has selected 220 artists from all applications for participation in Huntenkunst 2018. The names of the participants will be announced in mid-December.
