Irish artists take centre stage at Huntenkunst 2026.

Huntenkunst is an art event aimed at professional artists and gallery owners. The focus is on the artists and their work.
Over the weekend in May, 250 artists from the Netherlands and abroad present their work.
The origins
Huntenkunst was first held in 1993 in the hamlet of Veldhunten. The organisers gratefully made use of the Ulftse Galerie bij de Boeken. Their pioneering spirit in the cultural sphere was further underlined by the fact that the first fair took place in a marquee, where over 80 artists from various countries exhibited their work. Since then, the event has grown into a major festival for contemporary visual art, held annually in May in the SSP hall.
